April is National Donate Life Month
One person can save and heal up to 60 lives through organ and tissue donation! Nationally there is over 113,000 people waiting for a transplant and nearly 18 people dying each day for lack of an organ. In 2012, Minnesota transplant centers performed a record number of heart transplants. 80 heart transplants were conducted, of which 32 were performed at Mayo Clinic Rochester.
